My mind has been in charge,

For every single day of my existence.

In charge of who I am, what I do,

Challenging my heart's resistance.

I tried to control it.

It never worked, I felt ashamed.

Then learned that some things in life,

Were never meant to be tamed.

After that came acknowledgment,

That all happens as it should.

So I promised to be strong,

For as long as I could.

I am on the right path,

Still with a lot left to do.

I will continue to fight,

Just the same way as you.

To give up I never will,

Inspiration I shall seek.

One day this flawed mind, 

Will create something unique.
