I know now that just because you don't understand doesn't mean that I made the wrong choice. 

So I'll keep in mind that there will also be times when I won't understand your choices. However, that doesn't mean that they were the wrong ones.

Maybe I'm trying too hard to hold on to something that ceased to exist. 

Some people search their whole lives for...that special someone. That person who changes their lives permanently. Who makes them feel like they could conquer the world. 

Some people search their whole lives for...who they truly are. 'Cause that special someone is yourself. You'll know it when you reach a stage in your life where you stop being afraid of letting it all out. Of being vulnerable and even a bit fragile. Of speaking your truth. As you overcome your fears, everything you do screams who you genuinely are.
